As the inaugural recipient of the USGBC Center for Green School’s ‘Greenest School on Earth’ award in 2012, Green School Bali launched a worldwide scholarship competition today seeking the 'Greenest Student on Earth.' Exceptional young people who are working on environmental projects in their local communities are encouraged to apply.

Green School Bali is sponsoring the Greenest Student on Earth Scholarship Competition to emphasize the importance of caring for the environment to young people everywhere. Three winners of the competition, one each from primary, middle, and high school, will win a full scholarship to the renowned Green School in Bali, Indonesia—an international school whose mission is to inspire students to be creative, innovative green leaders.

To enter the ‘Greenest Student on Earth’ Scholarship Competition, students must go to the Green School website at www.greenschool.org, and submit a 2 to 3-minute video that answers the question, “Why are you the Greenest Student on Earth?” The video should highlight the students’ environmental achievements, aspirations, and how they would benefit from a year at Green School. Parental permission is required and parents are welcome to help. The competition will close for entries on Earth Day, April 22, 2013, and the winners will be announced on June 5, World Environment Day.
