Our nation's schools receive only about two-thirds of the funding needed each year to stay in good repair, with under-resourced communities often bearing the greatest burden. We believe that each of our communities' schools should show our students the solutions that will bring us forward into a healthy, sustainable future and inspire them to invent things we can't even imagine. We believe that supporting and training the dedicated individuals who work within school systems is the most effective way to make change. Our national peer-to-peer learning network reaches 700 individuals working in 250 school districts, impacting over 9 million students, over 60% of whom are in low-income and/or disadvantaged communities. We are focused on expanding our reach to school districts nationwide and support those responsible for sustainable facilities planning and operations, capital planning and design, and environmental health. Through the support of trusted sponsors, we host timely education and peer networking opportunities, both virtual and in-person, and provide evidence-based information through research and publications.
