Green Schools Conference

The Green Schools Conference (GSC) is the only national event to bring together all the changemakers involved in making green schools a reality: people who lead, operate, build, and teach in schools. GSC is hosted by the Center for Green Schools in partnership with the Green Schools National Network. Accelerate your work by connecting with and learning from a community of like-minded leaders.

K-12 educator resources

Teachers looking to bring green building education into their classrooms can look to USGBC’s educational resources specifically designed for K-12 educators.

• Learning Lab is an online platform with over 600 standards-aligned lessons, activities, and resources that encourage student leadership, sustainability literacy and real-world action.
• The Building Learners program is a data-driven package that trains and prepares teachers to use a school’s eco-footprint to bring STEM concepts to life.
• The Green Classroom Professional Course helps teachers and school staff learn to recognize, implement, and communicate practices that keep a classroom healthy and keep teachers and students focused, alert, and ready to learn.
