Are you interested in a snapshot of the work that the Center for Green Schools has accomplished in the first half of 2014?

We’ve just published our 2014 Midyear Report Card, our semi-annual check-in on progress we’ve catalyzed to advance the green schools movement.

As you’ll see below, we’ve grouped the channels through which we pursue our mission into three sections:

  1. The number of individuals equipped and empowered by the resources we create, the assistance we provide to schools, and the volunteer leaders we support with trainings
  2. The number of rockstar volunteers across the globe who are transforming schools and campuses in their communities and the number of hours they have contributed (averaging more than 19 hours per person!)
  3. The voices from within the movement and beyond, who reflect our collective impact

Finally, we take a step back and highlight milestones in the green schools movement that occurred between January and June 2014, as organized into the three pillars defined by the U.S. Department of Education’s Green Ribbon Schools program.

Take a look and share! And stay tuned for our next infographic on the impact of Green Apple Day of Service, which took place on September 27, 2014. Coming soon!
