Keynote speaker Justin Shaifer
It is critical to hear from the generation that will inherit the fight against climate change and will feel its effects more than those before them. Rising star advocate of STEM education and a LinkedIn "Top Voice in Technology," Justin Shaifer will participate in an inspiring keynote conversation during the opening general session on June 28 from 11:30 a.m.–12:15 p.m. ET.
Shaifer's passion for students to pursue careers in STEM culminated in the founding of Fascinate Inc., a nonprofit organization that curates educational programs designed to excite Generation Z students about STEM/STEAM. As the producer and host of live action and animated science video projects, Shaifer has reached millions of students with his unique content. He also co-founded the STEM Success Summit, a large-scale conference for STEM students representing diverse backgrounds that secured sponsorship from Best Buy and General Motors. Shaifer’s dedication to engaging youth in STEM education aligns with the spirit of GSC: to ensure every student is afforded the opportunity to learn in sustainable schools that enhance their health and prepare them for the future.
