The end of the year is almost here, and the Center for Green Schools is excited to recognize the “Best of Green Schools” 2014 leaders: people, schools, campuses and organizations making a big difference in their communities.
We have a lot to celebrate this year, and if not for the outstanding efforts of thousands of leaders and volunteers across the world, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
Through extensive planning, experimentation, careful investments in infrastructure and technology, and collaboration with community members and policy makers, schools all over the world are becoming healthier, greener places to learn, work and play. And you’re a big part of it!
“Best of Green Schools” is here to celebrate the work that you or someone in your community are doing to push the green schools movement forward. Last year, we awarded schools with innovative and curriculum-integrated garden activities that represent the best that 21st century learning has to offer, policy makers who’ve made green schools part of their platform and legacy, and organizations that take local collaboration to the next level, truly embodying the intersection of people, planet, and prosperity.
