The GSC Pass (Mar 3-4)

This pass provides access to all meals and education events scheduled March 3-4 during the in-person conference in Orlando, which includes two (2) plenary sessions, choice of one (1) half day workshop, two (2) days of interdisciplinary education, the Best of Green Schools Awards Luncheon, targeted networking opportunities including the Exchange, Speed Greening, Opening and Closing Circles, and Closing Reception.

One-Day Pass (Mar 4)

This pass provides access to all meals, education, and special events held on March 4, including the ADAPT Opening and Joint Closing Plenary, core education sessions, access to the Exchange, and the Joint Closing Reception.

Round out your GSC experience

Explore green buildings and sustainable schools in the City Beautiful on March 5 during immersive offsite tours. Cohosted with the USGBC ADAPT Southeast Regional Conference, GSC participants will see green solutions in action in a variety of settings. Select one of three options for half day tours. Scholarships

The Center for Green Schools at USGBC and the Green Schools National Network (GSNN) are offering limited scholarships for the 2025 Green Schools conference. The deadline to apply has passed, and the application is now closed.

Scholarships are competitive and available to non-profit leaders, educators, school district staff, and green building professionals representing underserved and/or underrepresented industries, sectors, and communities or with a demonstrated barrier to attendance. Priority will be given to first-time attendees.

Eligibility requirements

Scholarship recipients must:

  • Be 18 years or older and work as either an educator or school district staff member.
  • Guarantee attendance in person at the live event taking place March 3–4 in Orlando.
  • Not be a Green Schools National Network (GSNN), USGBC or GBCI staff member or contractor, or hold a volunteer leadership position with GSNN, USGBC or GBCI.
  • Demonstrate a valid and reasonable need for the scholarship, as evidenced by the inability to attend the GSC without one due to financial, location and/or professional constraints.
  • Demonstrate how one’s background merits receipt of a scholarship.
  • Commit to sharing a 150-word or 30-second video testimonial sharing the impact of the scholarship on current or future work.

Offline payments

Invoice requests received after Friday, February 14 are required to complete a credit card authorization form. Before registering for the GSC, contact [email protected] with any questions.

K-12, undergraduate or graduate students should contact [email protected] to unlock special student pricing.

Conference Hotel

As of February 18, the conference hotel has sold out of rooms. Additional rooms are available at the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista until Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

Reservations made after this date will be subject to prevailing rates and availability. Reservations may also be made by calling 1-800-325-0720 and referring to the GSCxADAPT group number 10142984.

Discounted rooms are available at $237 per night (plus applicable taxes and fees) for GSC attendees at the conference host hotel, the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista at Disney Springs. Negotiated rates are available for stays February 28-March 4, 2025. Act fast and reserve your room online before February 3, 2025! Note: as of January 23, 2025, the hotel is unable to accommodate requests for rooms on March 6 and March 7.
