Scholarships
The Center for Green Schools at USGBC and the Green Schools National Network (GSNN) are offering limited scholarships for the 2025 Green Schools conference. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Scholarships are competitive and available to non profit leaders, educators, school district staff, and green building professionals representing underserved and/or underrepresented industries, sectors, and communities or with a demonstrated barrier to attendance. Priority will be given to first-time attendees.
Eligibility requirements
Scholarship recipients must:
- Be 18 years or older and work as either an educator or school district staff member.
- Guarantee attendance in person at the live event taking place March 3–4 in Orlando.
- Not be a Green Schools National Network (GSNN), USGBC or GBCI staff member or contractor, or hold a volunteer leadership position with GSNN, USGBC or GBCI.
- Demonstrate a valid and reasonable need for the scholarship, as evidenced by the inability to attend the GSC without one due to financial, location and/or professional constraints.
- Demonstrate how one’s background merits receipt of a scholarship.
- Commit to sharing a 150-word or 30-second video testimonial sharing the impact of the scholarship on current or future work.

Offline payments
Before registering for GSC, contact [email protected] by Friday, February 16 to request an invoice for offline payments (i.e. check, wire, or ACH).

Conference Hotel
This year, the GSC will be held at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista in Orlando, FL. All conference education, general sessions, and networking activities including Speed Greening, the Exchange, Women In Green, and Closing Reception will be held onsite.
