The GSC Pass

This pass provides access to on-demand education via the GSC Attendee Hub and the in-person conference in Santa Fe, which includes one half day workshop, one topical summit, one and a half days of interdisciplinary education, networking activities, eXchange Showcase, luncheons, the Best of Green Schools Awards Ceremony and Reception, and inspirational keynote presentations. Early bird rates expire on January 19, 2024.

Student or Emerging Professional
A "Student" is an individual enrolled full-time in at least 12 credit hours in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program. An "Emerging Professional" is an individual under the age of 30 with less than 3 years of experience in their current industry or role.

New Mexico Resident Pass

Exclusively designed for New Mexico residents, the GSC announces the New Mexico Resident Pass – a unique opportunity for local green schools advocates interested in learning and connecting with their peers at the 2024 Green Schools Conference. The New Mexico Resident Pass includes access to March 6th education sessions, networking lunch, and the eXchange Showcase at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center. It also includes on-demand digital content through the GSC Attendee Hub. The Pass does not include access to programming on March 5th or 7th or to the March 6th morning keynote, Best of Green Schools Awards Ceremony, nor evening reception.

This pricing is available exclusively for residents of the state of New Mexico. A New Mexico based work address is required to qualify for the New Mexico Resident Pass. To purchase this pass, select New Mexico Resident during registration.

Explore sustainable schools in the City Different on March 4 during immersive offsite tours. Participants will see green solutions in action in a variety of educational settings including public schools and community colleges. Select one of three options for half day tours. Registration includes transportation and lunch.

Scholarship

The Center for Green Schools at USGBC and the Green Schools National Network (GSNN) are offering limited scholarships for the 2024 Green Schools Conference taking place March 5-7 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The deadline to apply is Friday, December 22, 2023. For consideration, all applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM Eastern on the closing date.

Scholarships are competitive and available to educators and school district staff representing underserved and/or underrepresented communities or with a demonstrated barrier to attendance. Priority will be given to first and second time GSC attendees.

Scholarship access

The GSC Scholarship provides in-person access to the 2024 Green Schools Conference experience and does not convey a stipend or reimbursement for costs incurred related to travel or lodging. Applicants will receive complimentary access to the conference proceedings taking place on March 5-7.

Eligibility requirements

Scholarship recipients must

  • Be 18 years or older and work as either an educator or school district staff.
  • Guarantee attendance in person at the live event taking place March 5–7 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
  • Not be GSNN, USGBC or GBCI staff or contractor, or hold a volunteer leadership position with GSNN, USGBC or GBCI.
  • Demonstrate a valid and reasonable need for the scholarship, as evidenced by the inability to attend the GSC without one due to financial, location and/or professional constraints.
  • Demonstrate how one's background merits receipt of a scholarship.
  • Commitment to share a 150-word or 30-second video testimonial sharing impact of scholarship on current or future work.

Individuals who successfully completed the GSC Scholarship application were notified via email as of January 8, 2024.
