Overflow Hotel Option: The Dana on Mission Bay

We’ve arranged a limited room block at The Dana on Mission Bay for attendees seeking accommodations near the conference hotel. The nightly rate is $169 plus tax for stays February 15–18, 2026, with availability for up to three days pre- and post-conference, based on hotel availability. As part of this arrangement, the $20 daily resort fee has been waived, and discounted overnight parking is available for $10 per day. Rooms are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

This February, the green schools community will convene in America’s Finest City—San Diego, recognized as a LEED Gold City for its commitment to energy efficiency, water conservation, and renewable energy.

The 2026 GSC will be held at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina in San Diego, CA. All conference education, general sessions, and networking activities will be held onsite. The Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, Mission Bay, and downtown San Diego. Guests can enjoy on-site pools and waterslides, or step directly into water adventures such as whale watching, sailing, and kayaking.

Rooms may still be booked at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay, however, the discounted rate for conference attendees is no longer available.

Attendees are encouraged to book accommodations at nearby hotels, including the Hilton Garden Inn San Diego Old Town/Sea World Area, which is a 5 minute drive away from the host hotel, or other properties in the Mission Bay and Old Town areas.
